Beautiful camping area with a drinking water tap, separate camp sites and individual access to the beach. Loved it. (You need a permit)

Tranquil bay. Quite close to Mackay so gets frequent day visitors. Locals say crocs in the nearby creek so swimming a bit scary. Dusty campsites with no firepits (or fires). Stunning national Park and walks!

Very large campground. Can fit 8 pax easy. Close to the beach and very wild. Love it.

I have lots of fun memories of this area. This is where I caught my first fish, happened to be a shark. this is where I helped Turtles down to the edge of the water. this is where I learnt to oyster pick and to prawn. I learnt to row a boat in this Cove. I was even stung by a scorpion at this place. In the mountains behind the beach, there are caves with Aboriginal drawing. I spent many a night watching cicadas come out of the skins in this place
